The Phenomenology of Psychoses - by Arthur Tatossian

Arthur Tatossian was a French psychiatrist who reviewed the entire phenomenological literature on psychosis - from Jaspers in the 1910s to Blankenburg and Tellenbach in the 1970s.  It is an important overall review of the topic.  It was published in book form in a series on anthropological psychiatry in a publication called L'Art du comprendre.  John Cutting has chosen to translate what he regards as the most critical parts of his 150 page treatise, but keeping his sense of comprehensiveness.

The Constitution of the Human Being - by Max Scheler

A new translation of the late philosophical works of the German Philosopher Max Scheler by the British Psychiatrist John Cutting. Max Scheler had a large influence on the development of psychopathology.  For example, both Karl Jaspers and Kurt Schneider were influenced by him (Schneider being his student at one point) but the influence comes mainly from Scheler's early philosophical works. His late works were largely unpublished and unfinished during his lifetime. John Cutting, drawing from Scheler's literary estate, makes them available for the first time in an English translation. This provides a potentially important new resource for philosophical psychopathology.

John Cutting's translation of The Constitution of the Human Being is available here.
